 As previously announced, the Conference is planned for

 September 7 - 14, 2008

 - arrival on Sunday (September, 7) - in the evening, 
 - departure after lunch: 
                      on Saturday, September 13, for participants of the ICFEI 
                      on Sunday, September 14, for participants of the ICFEI & Workshop 
and will be held in the Mathematical Research and Conference Center (MRCC) in Będlewo near Poznań. It offers double and single rooms with bathrooms and such facilities as sauna, bicycles, table tennis, billiards, TV, parking. Each room provides access to the Internet for private computers. In addition, the computer room will be at the disposal of participants. 

The registration desk will be opened from 4 p.m., Sunday, September 7 at the MRCC. The participants will be met at the Poznań Airport (Ławica) or at the Poznań Railway Station if the arrival time is reported. Please fill in the enclosed "Final Registration Form" and send it back by July 15. 

In case you need a letter of invitation in order to participate in the Conference or to obtain a visa, please contact the Conference Organizing Committee (e-mail: icfei@ap.krakow.pl) as soon as possible. 

The conference fees for participants are:

•  1 450 PLN (435 EUR) - ICFEI only, 

•  1 600 PLN (480 EUR) - ICFEI & Workshop 

and for accompanying persons: 1 100 PLN (330 EUR) and 1250 PLN (375 EUR). It includes the costs of registration, accommodation, the conference bus from (and to) the train station or the airport, refreshments, the proceedings of the conference and meals: from dinner on Sunday, September 7 (from 6 p.m., according to the arrivals), till lunch on the last day of the Conference (Saturday or Sunday). The additional fee for reservation of a single room is 60 EUR (if somebody wish to book it in advance). Please, transfer the payment to the account

Notification of cancellation must be made in writing by a registered letter or email to the Conference Office. The payment reduced by an administration charge of 45 EUR will be refunded if cancellation is received before September, 1st. Refunds will be processed after the Conference. 

A data projector, a TV camera for a presentation of printed documents (representable format is 20 cm x 15 cm), a blackboard and a paperboard will be provided. 

Those of the participants who wish to present a talk (about 20 min. long) are kindly asked to send us an abstract, which will be included in the conference materials. Abstracts should be typeset in LaTeX (preferably, but TeX, AMS-TeX etc. is also acceptable). It should contain the name of the author, afiliation and the title of the talk; its length should not exceeded one page. Please prepare the document as simple as possible avoiding, in particular, using commands like: newcommand, newcounter, newenvironment, hspace, vspace, footnote, etc. 

The LaTeX file of the abstract (if possible together with a pdf or postscript one), should be send to: jacek@ap.krakow.pl (and a copy to icfei@ap.krakow.pl) with the word "abstract" in the subject field. The deadline for submitting abstracts is July 31, 2008. 

The organizers can not accept responsibility for any accidents that might occur or for any loss of property. Participants are strongly advised to take out personal travel and medical insurance.
