Also, we would like to remind that in this year we celebrate the 100th anniversary of the birthday of Stanisław M. Ulam, the famous Polish mathematician who formulated a well known problem that gave impetus to the study of stability of functional equations. On this occasion, a Special Session devoted to the subject of stability will be organized at the 13th International Conference on Functional Equations and Inequalities. The main Scientific Organizer and Chairman of that Session is Professor Themistocles M. Rassias. Therefore, if you wish to present during that Session your main talk or/and a remark or/and a problem, please contact Professor Rassias. His e-mail address is: trassias@math.ntua.gr The Special Session is planned for the second day of the Conference, Tuesday, September 15, 2009.

A data projector, an overhead projector for displaying transparencies (representable format is 20 cm x 15 cm), a blackboard and a paperboard will be provided.

Those of the participants who wish to present a talk (about 15 - 20 min. long) are kindly asked to send us an abstract, which will be included in the conference materials. Abstracts should be typeset in LaTeX (preferably, but TeX, AMS-TeX etc. is also acceptable). It should contain the name of the author, afiliation and the title of the talk; its length should not exceeded one page. Please prepare the document as simple as possible avoiding, in particular, using commands like: newcommand, newcounter, newenvironment, hspace, vspace, footnote, etc.

The LaTeX file of the abstract (if possible together with a pdf or postscript one), should be send to: kc@ap.krakow.pl (and a copy to icfei@ap.krakow.pl) with the word "abstract" in the subject field. The deadline for submitting abstracts is August 31, 2009

Please complete the registration process by filling on-line the “Final Registration Form”, by August 10, 2009, even if you do not intend to take part in the 13th ICFEI.

Participants willing to use the conference bus from Kraków to the hotel on September 13 or from the hotel to Kraków on September 19, are asked for reporting this fact in the “Final Registration Form”.
