As previously announced, the Conference is planned for September 11 - 17, 2011 in the Mathematical Research and Conference Center (MRCC) of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Będlewo. The arrival day is Sunday, September 11 (the registration desk will be open from 4 p.m.); the departure is on Saturday, September 17, after lunch.
Będlewo is located in west-central Poland on the border of the National Park of Wielkopolska (26 km southwest from the center of Poznań). The Center is a place of many scientific conferences and workshops. It offers two computer rooms with Internet access. The Wi-Fi network is also available. The nearest airports to Będlewo are Poznań Ławica Airport (40 km), Berlin (280 km) and Warsaw Frederic Chopin Airport (330 km). From Warsaw to Poznań you can take a train. The departure station is Warsaw Central Railway Station (Warszawa Centralna) and the arrival station is Poznań Main Train Station (Poznań Główny). Polish State Railways (PKP) operates a frequent train service between Warszawa Centralna and Poznań Główny. The schedule of the trains is available on the website:
A bus connection from Poznań Main Train Station (and from Poznań Ławica Airport) to Będlewo will be arranged. The bus departure times will be announced based on the arrival information communicated to us.
The total costs for participants are:
- 760 PLN (approximately 200 EUR at the moment) - conference fee,
- 612 PLN (approximately 161 EUR at the moment) - accommodation,
The Center offers single and double rooms (at the same price for each person). Unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate each participant in a single room. However, if someone wishes to book it in advance, then the reservation fee is 70 EUR.

The accommodation fee should be paid by credit card or cash at the front desk of the Center upon the arrival. As Będlewo is a small village, ATMs may be unavailable.
Notification of cancellation must be made in writing by a registered letter or email to the Conference Office. The payment reduced by an administration charge of 45 EUR will be refunded if cancellation is received before September 1, 2011. Refunds will be processed after the Conference.
This year's conference is dedicated to the memory of Professor Marek Kuczma, the famous Polish mathematician, who died 20 years ago. He was the founder of the Polish School of Functional Equations and Inequalities.
Each participant is invited to give a talk (about 15 -20 minutes long). A data projector, an overhead projector for displaying transparencies (representable format is 20 cm x 15 cm) and a paperboard (flip chart) will be provided.
Those of the participants who wish to present a talk are kindly asked to send us an abstract, which will be included in the conference materials. Abstracts should be typeset in LaTeX (preferably, but TeX, AMS-TeX etc. are also acceptable). It should contain the name of the author, affiliation and the title of the talk; its length should not exceeded one page. Please prepare the document as simple as possible avoiding, in particular, using commands like: newcommand, newcounter, newenvironment, hspace, vspace, footnote, etc.
The LaTeX file of the abstract should be send to: icfei@up.krakow.pl with the word "abstract" in the subject field. The deadline for submitting abstracts is August 26, 2011.
Please complete the registration process by filling on-line the "Final Registration Form", using the personal registration link sent in an e-mail, by July 15, 2011.
If you are a citizen of the UE, you should provide your university's VAT ID (as it is necessary for the invoice). In case your university's address is different from your institute's or your department's address, please provide it in the part of the Final Registration Form concerning the invoice. The pro forma invoices will have been sent by the end of July.
It would be very helpful if you fill the Final Registration Form, even if you do not intend to take part in the 14th ICFEI. A message sent by e-mail is also welcome (and satisfactory).
